Served as lead student organizer for the 39th Annual Symposium on Arabic Linguistics (ASAL39), one of the premier annual venues for Arabic linguistics research in North America. Responsibilities spanned the full event lifecycle: budgeting, hotel negotiations, reviewer coordination, keynote speaker selection and logistics, conference website creation, and attendee communications.
The symposium featured keynote speakers Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Mageed (UBC), Dr. Nihal Nagi Sarhan (Ain Shams University), Dr. Jalal Al-Tamimi (Université Paris Cité), and Dr. Usama Soltan (Middlebury College). The event was attended by researchers from across North America, Africa, and Europe.
